Kosuke Koyama, a theologian internationally known for using arresting metaphors drawn from his experience as a missionary to convey an influential vision of Christianity as compatible with Asian traditions, died on last Wednesday, in Springfield, Mass. Doing theology remains a struggle and a joy to be in tune with those colors. So, how will it be like when a blog reflects such an understanding? This, for him, is the Asian new identification that is rooted biblically in the theologia crusis and historically in the theological situations in Asia.
